I've not been posting daily--as I had been doing fairly regularly up and until about a year ago (or a bit more). My numbering system no longer corresponds to actual dates--I'm just continuing to count down to some final number as I do manage to post once again...
Attached is a New Year's message that I sent to several of my family and friends... Perhaps I'll get back to posting more...but for now here's my thoughts for what I did over the past 1.5 years, and some of what I hope to do in 2019 and beyond...

Happy New One!
Wishing everyone a joyous 2019...
I've spent the past year, and bit more, dealing with multiple health issues... Looking forward to the coming year being less medical and more activity based... Throughout last year's sidetracks, I was able to maintain my Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) classes... I've now done over 300 RSB classes since I started the program about 3 years ago... In fact, I'm going to be highlighted as the Boxer-of-the-Month in the local RSB monthly newsletter in January... The newsletter editor asked me to respond to 5 questions to flesh out the article... One question was: For me, what is the key to happiness?
My answer went something like this --
So I'm looking forward to a less medically focused 2019... and perhaps getting back to doing some dancing... an activity that has been put on hold while my medical circumstances have been resolved... Love and blessings to everyone... and a great 2019 for you and yours...I haven't the faintest clue... I think it has a lot to do with a person being happy with his or her self... and being able to manage his or her circumstances in life... RSB classes have given me one tool to help manage my medical circumstances... I was diagnosed with PD about 14 years ago--and I'm doing well... The past year or so has been more challenging... I was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma for which I did a round of immunological treatments... the treatment reduced the anomaly but didn't get rid of it...I just went through a 2nd round of treatments -- another round of immunological infusions and a series of highly targeted radiation sessions... this latest series of interventions seem to have produced the wanted results... But we won't be sure for a couple of months and we do a PET Scan...
And, oh yeah, in the middle of all this I had a colon operation -- which was successful and only stopped my RSB sessions for a couple of weeks... It's difficult to do planks when your planking muscles have been punctured...
