With nothing in particular planned for today, I slept in this morning. Not necessarily unusual, but I just put my head down and didn't wake up until the morning had slipped away.

Finally arose and went out for a bite to eat and did a library and TJ run. Came back and (you guessed it) slept some more. I napped through the heat of the afternoon. Then, I cranked up the DVD and watched Fellini's Nights of Cabiria. His wife, who was the lead in the movie, is hard not to watch. She has a face/personality that makes me want to watch her in every scene. She was quite a good actress. I'm curious to see what she did as she grew older.

Dreamed last night that I was in a cabin with my two sons and some other boys. We were on some kind of camping trip and were using the cabin as base. We had a big to-do over who was going to sleep where. The bedrolls were tossed all over the place until they settled in various locations. The kids were up and about, running here, there, and everywhere.

The dream shifted to a scene that was at what looked like a university. We were in a room filled with hardware. We were discussing an algorithm that would help perform auto correlation work in an automatic way. It would not require anyone's intervention. All you had to do was start the program, and it would continue on its own without any help. The algorithm had application to Internet search engines. With the algorithm, searches could be performed and then analyzed, revealing non-obvious correlations in the found data structures. It was going to be a big breakthrough in the way search engines behaved.

Both dreams had a high level of detail and complexity. I awoke while I was dreaming and noted the dream content and tagged the dreams for recording. I became lucid while in the dream states.

Weather promises to be hot over the weekend. 90+ temperatures on the way! Hot! Hot! Hot!
