PD exercise session today! The regular instructor was not there. She was replaced by the woman who is more into aerobics-style movement. The class was strenuous but a little boring. I'm somewhat achy tonight from the exercises we did.
On the way to class, I saw JB at an intersection. He was in a wheel chair so I guess his PD has stopped him from walking. Made me feel sad--for him and for me. This illness is slowly wearisome with its incremental debilitation. At the exercise class today (which was heavily attended), there were several people who are badly affected. It made me feel anxious and tired of having to continue to cope with the effects. I just wanted to crawl back in bed. Instead, I did my laundry. The Laundromat had more people than usual. I just wanted to get my laundry done and get out of there.
A couple were there with a child who had Downs Syndrome. He was loud but not too disruptive. At one point, he started singing and his mother joined in with him. He could sing in perfect harmony with her. It was amazing. I believe they were Samoan. There singing was surprising and joyous. Life goes on! Movement class tomorrow.
I had an episode of flushing and redness in the afternoon--before and during a short nap. It was several hours after I ate a meal, but still might be connected to ingesting food. It was intense but not all that lengthy. Will continue to monitor.
