Movement class today was relaxing and helped smooth out the work from the earlier week's sessions. Also, the afternoon acupressure session sealed the integration of all activities. I came away a bit like I was floating. I grounded all of that floating energy with a solid meal from the Asian Kitchen Cafe. That, and a green tea latte, sealed the deal. I've been cruising along since I did all that.
Watched a suspenseful movie in the afternoon--Derailed. It was about an "average" guy who gets sucked into a scam by a set of criminals. The man, as a mark, keeps trying to extricate himself from the scam, but he keeps going deeper in the hole. Finally, he realizes the full scope of the scam and sets out (in a clumsy fashion) to right things. He ends up having to several things that help right the wrongs, but only by doing some things that makes him cross the line between victim and perpetrator. One of the really bad guys in the film was played by Vincent Cassell--a french actor who has appeared in several films recently and who makes an ideal criminal.
Have a resistance training session tomorrow to kick off the weekend! Let the barbells roll!
