Busy day! Busy day! PD dance this morning and it felt good. It always seems that this class never feels long enough. The time flies by so quickly! Grabbed a bite of lunch and then went to the resistance training class. I felt fairly strong throughout the activity but was a bit achy and sore from C&M class on Monday. Came home and slept some--nodding off with the fan stirring the humid air.
Watched a police thriller film--Man on a Ledge. It was a highly improbable story but kept the action and the intensity going by having the protagonist perched on the ledge of a 20 story building. Innovative camera work was done to keep the viewer hinged to the ledge and staring down to a real street 200 feet below. Alas, the story and unraveled subplots were never to be believed--from the opening action where the protagonist escapes from police custody, to his masterminding a jewel heist while he is perched on the building's narrow ledge, and many other similar improbable events. I wouldn't go out of my way to see the film again, but there were several newer actors that I might seek out in other productions.
G&B class tomorrow! So many similar days! I've created a regimen, a roster of activities, that I repeat and follow day after day. There are minor variations that deal with medical or dental interventions, or chance breaks in protocols--but very few. I keep on grinding along the same pathways, letting the days drift by. Dreams come and go, but never about Michelangelo! Come and go, come and go!
