Slept the day away! Enjoyed the cooler morning period by sleeping in today. Finally awoke and went out for a while, grabbed a sandwich, and came back and went back to sleep. Awoke this time with the air sultry and warm. Walked to SB's and had a green tea frappuccino--tasty and cooling.

Watched a somewhat dull French film--Human Resources. It is a story of a small factory town where nearly everyone works in the local metalworks. The son of a worker comes home from college to take a summer intern position with the HR group at the factory. Everything is obvious from that point forward--labor versus management--with the son trying to walk the thin line between the two. He discovers that management is planning a layoff that will include his father. For reasons that are not all that clear, the son joins the union (metaphorically) in the ensuing battle.

The long holiday weekend made it feel like there has been a time warp. Tonight feels like it's Sunday but it's only Saturday. Tomorrow feels like it should be Monday and it will only be Sunday still.

And so things drift and sway! Making room for another day! What is coming I cannot say! Will it find another way? Or will the way become the weigh? Will the music begin to play? Will I bargain or will I pay?
