A tiny bit cooler today but still in or near the triple-digits readings (locally--elsewhere for sure)! More of the same tomorrow--both warm and cooling some. I slept in until late morning and the muggy air rolled me out. I thought some about the upcoming move. I could leave my storage locker out of the equation--retrieve it later on a subsequent expedition. Not ideal, but makes the first move doable/thinkable.

This hot muggy weather is deadly for me. I roll into a ball in front of the fan, and nod away the day.

I drank liters of liquids yesterday which seemed to help me through the intense parts of the day. I drank less today, but still quite a lot. Can's get enough of that liquidity stuff!

Started watching a movie set in Columbia--Our Lady of the Assassins. There were plenty of violent opening scenes that promised there would be even more. The whole thing began with an ex-mystery man showing up, co-opting a young gay street criminal, moving him into his luxury (for the area) apartment, buying him electronics and gadgets, and on from there. I gave up about 1/5th of the way into the film. Switched to a French film--Nelly and Monsieur Armond. It is a Fall and Spring attraction that's played out and all around by a somewhat distant woman (young Nelly) and an equally distant older man (Armond). It's a compelling movie that teases the viewer along with things that are surprising and intense. The woman who plays Nelly is the person who starred in Manot of the Spring. She is a joy to watch! But, like many French films, there is the ambiguous and many-flavored ending of the action.

C&M class tomorrow and then begins the period of the move! Onward I go!
