Missed another posting as I fell asleep early last night. Getting to be a habit--dozing off as the day cools down and I'm coiled up on the floor. Not causing any problems--and I'm sleeping well even though I'm napping mostly and having to get up to shift into bed.
Dreams have been prolific. Two dreams on Thursday night. One about a huge lawn party that was attended by a host of AARP types. They were all elderly and silver-haired. Elaborate event with dozens (or more) attendees. Lots of food and music. I somehow didn't fit in--my hair was not silver enough. People were generally older than me. I mixed and wandered around, but nothing of substance ever happened.
A second dream involved a wolf. I was on a ranch on the plains. There were livestock of all sort. A wolf appeared and wasn't bothering the livestock. The creature just seemed to want to hang around the place. There was a woman there (my wife) and the wolf took to following her as she went about the chores. He shadowed her everywhere she went--always keeping a distance, but being very attentive to what she was doing.
Last night, I had a two-part dream. One part involved working on the solution to a mathematics problem. The problem was stated as an equality with terms that were tensors as coefficients. There was a team of us working on the solution. The team was being coached by a woman. She helped us parse the problem components and suggested approaches that might lead to a solution. The second part of the dream involved having the team fly to a conference where we were to present our results. For some reason, I had assumed that the conference was in town within flying distance of the team's location. Turned out that the conference was taking place in Hawaii. I had to scramble around to book flights for everyone, get them rooms, and rent cars. None of us had clothing for that location. I assumed we'd just have to buy stuff when we landed. We all made it to the conference and there were scenes of us on the beach as well as attending sessions.
I've been resting a lot today--not so much sleeping as just being still. The past few days, the symptoms have been light for the most part. Got a note from the PDTeam asking how I'm doing. Will send them a reply and ask them to set up some monthly sessions for the last four months of this year. Time flies!
