Went to CW dance class today. Leg felt stiff when I awoke, but I decided to go anyway. Glad I did! Dancing and learning a new dance went well. It felt good to move to the music. Have to keep on keeping on! The walk on Sunday and the dance class helped loosen things up. Have a movement class tomorrow (Tuesday evening sessions resume for five weeks), but no PD dance class (no class for two weeks). Will give me a chance to do laundry.

Had lunch with BH (a delicious salmon sandwich, made on a spinach nan, stuffed with tomatoes, garlic, pine nuts and more, plus some fresh fruit). GH and I watched a well done Argentine film, La Ventana (The Window). It was about an elderly man who was ill and what took place during his final days. The film was not "mushy" or maudlin--it just told the story and let events unfold as they do in life. It was not sentimental, yet it was rich and absorbing.

An odd thing was that the film opened with the man dreaming about a scene he experienced decades ago when he was a boy. He had a vivid dream about his mother and a woman coming into his bedroom while there was a party downstairs. The woman was his sitter and he recalled her kissing him on the forehead. The odd thing was that I had that flood of memories on Sunday of people and events that were from decades ago for me. The film was like an echo of my Sunday "movies." Reality and the dreamtime merged!

I don't recall if I slept any this afternoon. I was feeling well after the dancing, food and movie. GH is an inspiration! He is battling his vision issues and seems to be winning. He is doing all sorts of side projects in addition to putting together his new shows for the fall. As someone remarked, he is a national treasure. Both he and BH are! It has been a joy to get to know them!
