Thunder in the sky! The fireworks bloom and crack. The holiday is over.

It was almost like it wasn't a holiday today. People were out everywhere and many stores and businesses were open.

I dreamed last night about being with the many people I knew when I was a consultant. I was meeting with them to catch up on what had taken place over the years. I was surprised, in the dream, to see so many faces that I knew and had worked with. We had some rather technical discussions about the value of information concepts and how they could be applied. I was in a huge office complex that they had built to house their employees. It was an immense facility. It was centered in a downtown area that was convenient to all kinds of businesses. There were elegant food places, stores, art galleries, and more. I spent part of my time talking to my old work partners. I also spent time shopping for gifts and various items. The people I remembered included CS, JM, RH, BJ, WR, EC, DB, TR, PS, and many others. I recalled their names and saw their faces. It was quite remarkable! An amazing dream!

I went out for a late brunch. The Country Gourmet was open. I had a nice scramble with fruit and a scone. May eat there again tomorrow.
