Watched a film called Arranged. It is one of the Film Movement movies and is very good. It's a simple story of two women from two cultures and how they deal with their arranged marriages. The lead actors were bright and attractive. They focused the action and drew me along as they sorted out their issues. The film gave a good look at the traditions and rituals of an orthodox Jewish family and a Muslim family from Syria--as practiced and challenged by being here in America. It was a thoughtful film and leaves me with an appreciation of diversity.

It is still tonight. That wasn't the case throughout the day. There was abundant noise and chaos. But everything has grown quiet now.

Even though I slept a lot last night and today, my dreams have not been remembered. All was quiet on the dreaming front.
