Dropped off a stool sample for testing this morning (doing test instead of colonoscopy--will only do colonoscopy if testing indicates a problem). Medical center was strangely quiet when I went there around 10am. There were only a handful of people in the lab area--normally it's jammed with patients, but not today! Did laundry. When I finished, it was around midday. I went to MV to grab some lunch. Ate at Chef Liu's--place were I left my wallet last weekend. I had my usual--General's Chicken--spicy and filling.

When I got back to the apartment I felt drowsy. I put fresh-laundered sheets on the bed and zonked out for several hours. I woke up enough to take my medicine dosage, but went right back to sleep. I awoke as the afternoon waned and the temperature got warm.

Watched a second episode of the Brunetti detective stories. Still think that it's weird to locate the stories in Venice, use German in the spoken dialog, and use English subtitles. Strange and such! This episode dealt with art thieves and murder. Very Venetian! Jawohl?

Supposed to cool down some tomorrow, but we'll see. It seems to get warmer than forecast every day. There's a world music festival downtown PA tomorrow evening. Might be fun to drop by, especially if it's still warm--it'll be cooler outside than in.
