Finally looks like DC is getting it together--at least for now. Bad portents of what is to come though!

Had a day of rest. Didn't do much today except exchange DVDs and find something to eat.

Watched a really bad movie--The Chocolate War. It was a juvenile (literally and in the story line) take on bullying, evil priests and teachers, ultimate hazing, and supposedly standing up for one's self. It was an unlikely story with many unlikely twists and turns, and many unlikely characters. The story revolved around an unlikely chocolate sales scheme as the principal plot point. Dumb, dumb and more dumb! There were several people's faces in the cast that are now 20+ years older and doing regular work (on TV and in films). The film was a starting point for many, including the director. It was his first major film. The film had a $500,000 budget and it shows. But, he brought it in on time and on budget.

Can't recall anything about last night's dreams. I do remember waking up at one point and having some trouble getting back to sleep. Let there be dreams!

Slept well last night and into the morning. Finally got up and made it to the laundry.

Watched a movie The Deep End tonight. It was a thriller about a woman who gets pulled into a bad situation. She finds herself doing things she never thought she would do to protect her family and her life. The plot of the movie is like another film I have seen. But I can't think of the other film--just see flickers of scenes that were alike. Oh, well!

I'm getting sleepy tonight. Didn't have an afternoon pick-me-up latte. So am tumbling towards sleepiness.

No breakthroughs on the congressional front. Still can't understand why they are doing what they are doing. Guess Obama should go ahead and invoke the 14th amendment. What can he lose? Not much now!

PD weight training class felt good today. Came back from class and had a green tea latte. Perked me up and I'm still feeling good even though it's getting late. The bit of caffeine found in the tea seems to be just right for my metabolism.

Dreamed last night that I was in a house. It was a house I've been in before in other dreams. I was sleeping in the dream when I thought I heard some noise outside. I got up and made the rounds in the house to check that doors and windows were locked. I thought I knew who was outside and I didn't want them to be wandering around the house. When I looked out of a window I saw a car pull away from the curb. I knew then that it was the people I thought it was and I was glad they couldn't get into the house. I had family sleeping in other parts of the house but they were unaware of any problems.

Laundry day tomorrow! Nothing new on the Washington D.C. front except more dancing and stupidity. I picked up some medication refills today. I'm in the donut hole! Two 30-day supplies of two pills I take cost me over $200! I'm running about $20/day now in medications. That's more than I pay to eat each day. When I see the doctor next time I'll ask him if there's a more cost effective way to make the prescriptions. Shake, rattle and roll!

The republicans are intent on their goal to throw everything into chaos--even if means that it smashes the economies of the U.S. and other countries. It looks to the majority of people like a no-brainer as to what needs to be done to prevent the chaos. But politics and the quest for power are overriding logic and good sense. Little hope that anything positive will result from any legislation that might get passed at the last hour. Prepare (if that's possible) for an Armageddon!

Had a relaxing movement class today. Topped it off with a late afternoon green tea latte, which pulled me up and out of feeling tired and logy.

Watched a film A Woman in Berlin. It is a story based on recorded events as the Russians took over Berlin in 1945. The events were recorded by an anonymous woman who lived through the turmoil of the occupation. She managed to survive and help others in her apartment building survive by not resisting the Russians even when they were inflicting horrible cruelties on the captured people. It was a gruesome story and the film was not easy to watch. The book, on which the movie is based, was banned when it was first published in the 50s. It became a best seller when it was reprinted in 2003 and the anonymous author was identified.

Time to go to an uneasy sleep with the world in such turmoil. Can't help but run the scenarios of what might happen to my meager financial state if the country defaults next week. Hope the republicans are having an equally restless night!

Went to the MV senior center today since PD gait/balance class was canceled. Went in time to join the line dancing and then stayed for lunch. Strange being around all of those "old" people. But it's a lifeline for many--especially with lunch for $2.50!

Line dancing group was mostly geriatric Asian ladies. There were a few Asian men, one Caucasian lady and me. (About half the room was older Caucasian people who were not dancing.) We did a lot of older dances but I was still a bit clumsy since I hadn't danced in a while. Lunch was OK but nothing to shout about. I sat at a table of strangers and conversation was clumsy to say the least. I'm glad I don't have to go there regularly. Will only drop in when the Wednesday PD class is not happening.

Watched a PBS movie A Thief of Time. A made for TV movie with a rather weak story line and mostly unknown actors (except for Peter Fonda). The movie was based on a novel by a well known Southwest writer--but that still didn't help much. Robert Redford directed the film.

Movement class tomorrow. Will hear more about the dance space and whether it's being lost. Changes! Changes! Everything changes except our political leaders (if we can call them that). Default countdown! Down, down, down!

3953

Two classes today--PD dance and weight training. The two went well--better than last week. I came home last week tired. Today, I felt more energized afterward. Also had a green tea latte (caffeine) later in the afternoon which helped keep my energy up.

No PD gait and balance class tomorrow. It got canceled. Will go instead to MV senior center for line dancing and lunch. Give it a try!

Got a message from Rosen Movement teacher about possible loss of classroom space. That would be a bummer if it comes about. Changes! Always changes!

Should sleep well tonight after today's activities. I had some trouble sleeping last night--awoke for a while. Ended up sleeping in this morning and being late for class. Felt so good to sleep! I got up late for my morning's medication--I had thought I had gotten up and taken my pill, but I had only dreamed I had done so.

No budget bill! The clowns in DC continue their political theater (more like vaudeville) despite the looming consequences. Dream on politicos--your fate is written on the voting walls!

Pleasant day today. Quite a breeze to keep things cool. Watched a Russian film Roads to Koktebel. It's a Russian version of a father and son road movie. The film was s-l-o-w with long drawn out scenes that worked sometimes and didn't at other times. I'm sure there was a lot of symbolism in the film (dislocation, destiny, sea birds, monuments, and much more). The boy, the indomitable spirit, completes his father's journey when the father takes to drink and companionship versus following their plan. Fate controls a lot of their actions but brings them "home" even if the final place is in the middle of nowhere.

PD dance class tomorrow and weight training as well. I had some caffeine this afternoon and it pulled me through into the evening. It really didn't give me any extra energy--just took the edge off of the drowsiness and lethargy. Still not finding anything that pushes me over the brink into activity and productivity. Dreaming time! Into the mists I go! Ready for the phantom light!

Heart goes out to the people of Norway! What madness there is in the world!

Had a sad experience today. Went to Borders and walked into their going-out-business sale. I got a good deal on my SciFi periodicals (40% off), but the sad part is that they won't be there any more. Will be a challenge finding the periodicals once they are gone. Goodbye Borders! Goodbye, goodbye!

Watched a movie about how some of the changeover in Africa was accomplished by the efforts of a handful of dedicated men. They put themselves in harms way in order to pull off a negotiated ending and ultimate reversal to apartheid. The film was called Endgame and was a measured telling of the story and actions that took place. The film doesn't focus on Mandela but on the actions by these men to find a way to peace.

Had several dreams over the past few nights. In one I was working with a group of guys figuring out a design element for some kind of object/device. It was clear to me how the design elements were to be applied, but I couldn't quite bring the design to a point of it being testable. We were in a house (that I've been in before in other dreams). I was starting to feel a bit paranoid, thinking that the other group members were judging me because the design was not working out. At one point in the dream, I went downstairs to a garage area. I recalled that I had not locked the garage doors. I felt that there was someone casing the place and looking for an opportunity to come in that way.

There was another dream but I don't recall the details. I seem to remember that it too was about work. Oh, yes! The dream had to do with the development of numerical analysis protocols that could be used to search through masses of data. The protocols would isolate characteristics across multiple data entries. It was a refinement on Google's search algorithms and could produce incredible results. In the dream, I was explaining the protocols and how they could be used.

Managed to sleep the morning away. Got up and had a bite of breakfast and then popped back to sleep until--until it was lunch time. Weather was warm today but a breeze kept things moderate. I went to the park for a while.

Watched a Swedish film (although it was directed by a Russian--so film had a lot of Russian influence and look/style): The Sacrifice. It was a rich symbolic romp through the psyche of a man who was growing old and facing up to the end game. The film was moving and gripping emotionally even though the staging and blocking was theatrical. The director died fairly young and this was one of his last pieces while he dealing with the illness. The film was dedicated to his son acknowledging the director's early exit.

Bumped into a lady from the Dances of Universal Peace group. My facial recognition software picked her out immediately despite not having seem her for a decade! Amazing brain cells!

Week ends (or begins). Weather is hot and muggy. Did PD weight training class today. Left me a bit achy and sore, but that will go away quickly.

Had a good dinner tonight. I wanted something basic. Got a platter of tilapia with mashed potato and green beans from CG. It's been a while sine I've been there. Food was great.

Watched several TV shows via Hulu.com. Evening went by quickly.

Had dreams last night but don't recall any details. Slept well even with the bit of caffeine I had earlier yesterday. No caffeine today. Will see if I sleep as well without it.

Wonder if the clowns in DC are going to get their acts together over the budget. Not looking good!

3958

Had a movement class today. Felt good after the session. It was quite warm today--warm and muggy. Nothing like the heat wave that's happening back East, but hot enough.

Grabbed a sandwich after the class and ultimately had a green tea latte. Had a pastry from the new neighborhood bakery. There's also an ice cream parlor that's moved in as well. That puts a Subway, a Starbucks, a bakery and the ice cream place just across the street. The bit of caffeine helped stave off my afternoon desire to just collapse and sleep. Still feeling some of the clearness and clarity that the drink brings to things.

Watched a Spanish film The Archimedes Principle. It was a light treatment of two interconnected couples as they navigate through life and their marriages. It was a sitcom kind of movie where the whole film could have been an episode out of a series of shows.

Have a PD weight training session tomorrow afternoon. Lift them weights!

Wednesday, July 20, 2011

3959

Slept a lot today. It was hot today. Just stayed in the hay. Dreaming life away.

It's still warm and muggy tonight.

Watched a movie at the H's--Bagger Vance. It was a good film. Just quirky enough to pull the viewer through a championship round of golf. The story line in the film is based on the Bhagavadgita and the interactions between the Arjuna and Bhagavan--the Supreme Personality. The battlefield of the story is placed on a golf course. Robert Redford directed the film. Matt Damon and Will Smith were the leads.

Enough for tonight! Movement class in the morrow! Let there be light!

Tuesday, July 19, 2011

3960

Had two PD classes today. Feel the effects a bit now, but it was still worth doing. Weather has turned fairly warm (nothing like the Midwest though) and that's making it uncomfortable to just sit around. Better outdoors with the breeze that's kicking up.

Dreamed last night that was paranoid in nature. Every scene involved me being around groups of people who were judging me, making negative comments about me, and making me very uncomfortable. There were several different scenes that all were problematic to remain connected to because of the negative aura that wrapped itself around everything.

Watched a movie tonight--Things We Lost in the Fire. A somewhat plodding story with a fair amount of heart string moments. It was too slick in many ways. And also somewhat improbable.

Monday, July 18, 2011

3961

Watched a movie tonight: Tango! It was a Synecdoche New York done in Buenos Aires. It is a surrealistic dream piece set to music and wild colors and images. It was a visual pleasure to watch in terms of the dancing, the colors, and the mind play that was done. The film made a host of political statements, but did so mostly in dance.

PD dance class tomorrow followed by PD weight training in the afternoon. Looking forward to the movement and the exercise.

May do something different on Wednesday since the PD class is being preempted.

3962

Japan's women take the winner's spot in the soccer playoff. Tough on the US team, but it was a great game. I took time out of my sleep schedule to watch the end game.

Watched a terror movie tonight--The Strangers. It was a somewhat frightening intrigue of three crazies going after a man, his girlfriend and buddy. For me, the overall lighting was too dark and shadowy. The darkness sometimes prevents anyone from following the action closely. There was no logical plot too the film--just crazies practicing mayhem because they can do so. The final scene is so totally unlikely that it makes the film end on a laugh instead of a gasp. So much for terror films!

It was breezy today. The wind felt good and made being outside pleasant. Slept in late this morning but finally made it out and about to the library and the grocery store.

3963

Did my laundry today and it led me to do a good deed (or two). After putting my load into a washer, I helped a woman unravel the oddities of how the machines work. After that got resolved, I moved my washed clothes to a dryer. As I packed the dryer, I noticed a leather bag that was just sitting on the counter. It had been left by someone but it wasn't clear who had left it. A couple was pulling out of the parking lot and I chased them down. They said it wasn't theirs. I asked the woman I had helped with the machines but she too said it wasn't hers. I then started to look through the bag to see if there was any identification. There was about $200 in the bag, a check book, and many other items. I opened the checkbook and dialed the telephone number on the checks. I got a message that the number had been disconnected. About then, an elderly woman came in and started unloading a dryer. I realized that she had walked out, past me, when I had arrived earlier. I asked her if the bag was hers and she said yes. She didn't seem to realize that she had left the bag there for nearly an hour, sitting out in the open with money showing through the open top. I gave her the bag. It was my good deed for the day!

Dreamed that I was in town near some railroad tracks. There was a woman who was trying to get to an address that was somewhat near the tracks, but in an old factory area with rundown buildings. I offered to walk with her to get to the place she wanted to find. She agreed and we started walking through the maze of buildings and streets that led to where she wanted to go. The dream ended as we were approaching the place she wanted to find.

I slept in late but got up about midday and ran some errands, did my laundry, and watched a film. It was a movie I had seen before--Tsotsi--about a young black man in Africa who ends up with a kidnapped baby. It's a good film and was easy to watch a second time even though I knew what was coming. I was somewhat surprised that I had already seen the film. I didn't recognize it by the cover art. It wasn't until the movie began that it dawned on me that I had already seen it.

3964

PD weight training session today. Left me a bit achy but refreshed. The lifting of weights is making itself felt. I notice toning and increase of upper body strength.

Laundry day tomorrow! At least we won't have a "Carmageddon" to deal with the whole weekend.

Feeling tired tonight. Ready to hit the sack.

Don't recall what dreams I had last night--except I know that I dreamed. The moon was full last night (actually was full on Wednesday night) or so it seemed when I awoke and saw it floating in the sky.

3965

The debt crisis continues to hang like a pall over the thoughts and concerns of everyone. Congress and the Executive branch are spiraling downward along with the prospects of them coming up with a rational solution. Like two birds of prey locked onto the same carcass of a hapless victim, they keep losing altitude and appear to be heading for an eventual crash.

Movement class today was a chance to let go of some of these fears and worries. How fortunate!

I had an odd sleep issue today. I came back from lunch and fell asleep. I awoke a bit later and took my medication, then went back to sleep. I slept for several hours and awoke with the clock showing 7:00. I thought it was 7 in the morning but it was 7 in the afternoon. I couldn't get my mind around the thought that I had slept through the night. I was in confusion. I kept thinking how I could have slept for so long without waking. Finally realized that I had just slept through the afternoon.

Watched a really poor Japanese movie tonight--Sisters of the Gion. It was a pedantic, poorly done film about the plight of women when they are working in the sex trade business.

I had a set of dreams over the past few days. One had me applying for a job in an HR firm. I was given the task of interviewing two current employees as a training exercise. I did alright with the interview process, but I didn't do as well with protecting the personal information I had collected. The two people I had interviewed pointed out where I was remiss in protecting the data. I agreed with them. In talking with them I discovered that they had a need for another person in the research are. They needed someone who could provide information on Shakespeare. I told them I would be good in that role.

In a second set of dreams, I was also talking with two men about some work.

PD weight training tomorrow. Lift those weights!

Wednesday, July 13, 2011

3966

Fullness of the moon tonight! Bright liquid silver flowing across the skies. Day went well!

PD gait and balance class was not too strenuous. But, I still came home and crashed. I slept the afternoon away. Had a big lunch--General's Chicken.

Watched Synecdoche New York again tonight at the H's. Saw a lot more of the details this time around since I was primed to see them. Still not sure I see everything the film's about. Could study it for a lifetime, no doubt.

Movement class tomorrow. H's asked if I wanted to come to a Saturday morning brunch and reading session. I felt I had to decline. I need to find the time to get some things done--feel like I didn't want to give up one of my sleep-in mornings.

Tuesday, July 12, 2011

3967

Feeling tired tonight. Busy day! Went to PD dance class (after getting up this morning) and then did a PD weight training class in the afternoon. It all felt good but am tired now.

Watched a movie Jaffa about a family in that part of Israel. The daughter is in love with a Palestinian and becomes pregnant by him. He gets sent to prison for accidentally killing her brother. The story unfolds as life goes on. It was an OK film but I doubt I'll see it again. It's done by an Israeli director who has done several good films around the same themes as in Jaffa.

I'm fading! Need to crawl into the bed! Gait and balance class tomorrow! Ah, yes!

Monday, July 11, 2011

3968

Slept poorly last night; woke up early in the morning. But, I ended up feeling good as the morning unfurled. I felt clear and not all that shaky. Went to the H's for lunch and to read some from Flaubert's Parrot. It is an exceptionally well written piece with very many funny lines.

PD dance class and weight training session tomorrow. I'll probably be tired out much as I was today when it all concludes. I went back to bed in the late afternoon and slept for a few hours. Quiet now and will soon head for the bed.

My energy level feels elevated somewhat. Not sure what to attribute it to but glad for the momentary reversal. Will see if it continues in the morrow.

Dreamed last night about something to do with measuring things--time, money, breath, or such.

Sunday, July 10, 2011

3969

Sleep, sleep, sleep! Can't get enough of that sleepy time stuff!

Dreamed last night that I was with people from the men's group. We were going to camp out all night in a small cabin. I was driving to the campsite with a couple of the men. I was driving really fast and kept coming up on blockades and diversions. I just drove over them even if it meant that the car went airborne. I had some trouble getting to sleep last night. Probably because I had slept so much during the day. I slept in again this morning. I felt really tired after grabbing some food, but I got a green tea latte and used it to stay awake this evening.

I keep thinking that I'm going to suddenly discover a secret source of hidden energies. But I do not find such a thing.

Apartment complex was noisy today (this afternoon). Lots of conversations among the residents and people moving stuff into one of the units. Going to the H's tomorrow to read a chapter of our current book. Full set of classes this week starting on Tuesday.

I watched a movie, Flash of Genius, this afternoon. Based on a true story, it chronicled the trials and ultimate triumph of the guy who invented the variable speed windshield wiper. His idea was picked up by the auto manufacturers but he was never given credit for the invention. Over many years, he pursued and finally won legal judgments and fees. It's a "rocky" movie with the hero being just an average guy.

3970

Sleepy day! I virtually slept the entire day. Went to bed last night somewhat tired out from weight training session yesterday. But when dawn arrived I continued to sleep the day away. Started to go get a green tea latte this afternoon but drifted off to sleep instead.

Watched a movie called The Game. It's a mystery story about a man who gets enrolled in an elaborate game where reality becomes cloudy. I had seen the film when it first hit the theaters. It's somewhat improbable but rolls along on a strata of possibilities that finally ends with a totally improbable conclusion--New World Order meets the Matrix--or thereabouts.

Couldn't remember if it was Saturday or Sunday this evening. The time and days have mushed together. See by the clock on my computer that it's Saturday still. Time to dream!

3971

What went well today:
  • PD weight training class felt good. It is going to be good to have this class twice each week. I came home somewhat zapped but feeling well from the workout.
  • Picked up some new DVDs on my way home. Stopped and had a delicious sandwich on the return trip. I was hungry and felt like I wanted something substantial. The food and the activity left me wanting to sleep, but I didn't do so.
  • I dreamed last night. It was a dream about something to do with work or a job, but I don't recall the details.
  • Moon is bright and at the first quarter tonight.
  • I'm looking forward to the weekend. I'm feeling like I may be able to make some progress in putting my apartment into order. The time has come.
  • Southern Sudan (and Northern, I suppose) is an independent country.

3972

What went well today:
  • Cooler weather even though it was still warm and humid.
  • Movement class felt good today. Small class but moving felt good.
  • Dreamed last night that I was working with people I had once worked with to put on a dance activity at one of their parties. The first part of the dream had me interacting with the people who were putting on the party and working out the details. There was one woman in particular that I worked with to iron out the details. The second part of the dream dealt with being in the space where the party was to take place. It was a slick, modern space with lots of mirrors and glass. There were people there practicing some kind of dance event. I looked through the space and laid out some plans for the dance event. The dream was very detailed and brightly colored.
  • Watched Lument's Long Day's Journey Into Night film. It's an epic film that runs about three hours. It's an intense adaptation of the stage play with four major actors (all were nominated for Academy Awards). The whole thing is like someone scratching their fingernails on a blackboard over and over again. The film deals with the four people as a family with really dysfunctional interactions. Each gets to tell his story of how things came to be with them. The revelations are often done with a lot of drama and bombast.
  • Had no caffeine today but felt like I wanted some late in the afternoon. Green tea lattes keep appearing in my thoughts.
  • PD weight training tomorrow. Feels good to be doing this class twice each week.

Wednesday, July 06, 2011

3973

Watched (for the third time) Synecdoche New York. It's a spectacularly great movie. I'd be happy to watch it again and may do so with the H's. I saw so much of the film that I had not registered the first times around.

It was a quiet day. I ran errands for myself and with GH. Didn't have classes today so could just get out and about.

Movement class tomorrow. Slept well last night. Slept under the fan though since it stayed warm until early morning.

Tuesday, July 05, 2011

3974

What went well today:
  • Dreamed last night something about working and doing a job. I think it all had to do with technology in some way, shape or form.
  • Cooled back some today from forecasts. Awoke late and had to move it to get to classes on time.
  • Had PD dance class late morning. It was well attended and it felt good to dance and move. I was feeling heavy and logy before the class. Energy shifted once the class began.
  • Went to PD weight training in the afternoon (after PD dance class). We've now got two weight training sessions each week. I wasn't too sure how I'd do with two classes back to back, but it worked out well. I had a green tea latte after grabbing some food and that picked me up after the two classes. Will have to see how the latte affects tonight's sleep, but it sure tasted good and gave me a second wind in the evening.
  • Watched a French film Monsieur Hire. It was a film about strange people with strange habits and what happens when you mix the different elements. The film dealt with erotic compulsions, crime, and personality traits. Overall, it made me feel queasy but intrigued about where it was going.
  • No classes tomorrow. I can sleep in if that works out to be the case.

Monday, July 04, 2011

3975

What went well today:
  • 4th of July and all is well. It was a warm day but there was a cool breeze.
  • Went to the H's and read some in the Flaubert's Parrot book. The writing in the book is very good--very well done.
  • Watched an Hungarian film, Kontroll. It was filmed in the underground areas of the Budapest metro system. It was an allegorical film and the underground setting worked really well. The film was intriguing. Good use of color, light and music.
  • I nodded off today after eating a late lunch. It was really warm and I just passed out under the fan and slept on and off for quite some time. I didn't try another drink with caffeine today. The one I had yesterday kept me awake last night. If I do try it again I'll drink something earlier in the day.
  • Dreamed some obscure dream last night.

Sunday, July 03, 2011

3976

What went well today:
  • Was hot but not too bad given the temperature. There was a lively breeze that kept things somewhat cool. Supposed to cool back some in the morrow.
  • I didn't start moving until late in the morning. Went out for an all veggie dish of food in the early afternoon. Had a green tea latte (iced) to help stave off the sleepiness. It worked! I may have to start ingesting some caffeine in the afternoons to fend off the desire to sleep. It's either that or continue to keep sleeping my life away.
  • Dreamed last night some kind of obscure dream that I don't fully recall.
  • Watched the third Wallander story on DVD today. It was as good as the other two and brought the trilogy to a good conclusion.
  • Heading for the H's tomorrow to read a chapter from Flaubert's Parrot. It's the 4th of July but we have nothing else planned--so on with the reading.
  • Some fireworks last night and this evening. Sporadic!

Saturday, July 02, 2011

3977

Today:
  • Slept in really late. I kept closing my eyes and the time clicked by. Finally got up with a bit of morning left and began the day.
  • Did laundry late in the afternoon. Place was not that busy in the afternoon although a new fast food place opened up in the complex. That place is causing a horde of traffic. It's a pizza place and they've repainted the parking spots with several 10-minute spaces marked.
  • Watched a BBC mystery series Wallander. It's really good mystery tales centered around a detective, Wallander. The stories are set in Sweden but the action is done by a police team that is very British. Once I got over this strange setup, the tales were engrossing. Kenneth Branagh plays the lead. The whole thing is like CSI meets Scotland Yard meets Danish pastry--but it works! The camera work and details are superb.
  • Dreamed last night but don't recall the details.

Friday, July 01, 2011

3978

What went well today:
  • Stayed cool for most of the day (did get warm in the late afternoon). I slept in this morning and enjoyed the coolness and quiet.
  • Made a trip to the library to exchange books and DVDs. Library was cool! Bumped into the woman who helped secure the NSF grant for CTUSA! project. I looked up and there she was, DD, checking out some books. She hasn't changed much despite the many years since I first met her. Told her that my Dragon friend was busy publishing e-books.
  • PD weight training class felt wonderful today. I noticed that I had missed a few weeks of trainings, but I was able to still stay with the 10-lb dumbbells. Instructor is starting a 2nd class on Tuesday afternoons. Will be good to do an extra class each week.
  • Watched a neo-noir movie The Missing Person. The film was fairly dull and somewhat random. The intersecting plot lines were obvious and not very mysterious. The movie lacked motion!
  • Laundry day tomorrow. Beginnings of the 4th July weekend.
  • Had a delicious root beer float this afternoon. Couldn't decide on what I wanted to eat and then saw the root beer float. They made it with gelato ice cream! Yum, yum!
