Brief post tonight! Weather has cooled. Went to movement class today. It felt good afterward and into the afternoon.

Watched about half of a Russian movie called Repentance. It's a odd and quirky film so far. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Started reading the Ishiguro novel, The Unconsoled. Intriguing from the beginning! GH asked me to read the book to him. Will be an interesting activity. I'll get to practice my LOUD exercises.

PD weight training tomorrow. Goodbye to September; hello October! Bumped into M, a person I've known slightly for a long time. Her brother has been diagnosed with PD. He's fighting doing any exercise and pushing himself. I wish him well!

Cooler tonight! Feels good! PD exercise class today felt good as well. Moving feels better than not moving. Simple fact!

Went to the H's for movie night. We watched Enlightenment Guaranteed, a German film about two brothers who go to Japan to spend time in a Zen monastery. It's a funny but real film that is done well. I'd seen the film before but it was enjoyable a second time around.

Dreamed last night that I was helping direct people at some kind of concert or event. There had been some cancellations by some performers and people were streaming back to the ticket areas for refunds. I was explaining to some of those people how the refunding process worked. It was somewhat complex and varied based on how they had purchased their tickets. It was chaotic and people were upset by the cancellations and the refunding procedures. I was struggling to remain civil as people became angry and hostile.

A day without heat will be a day that is neat! Another sweltering day here on the home front! Mazes and dazes!

Dreamed last night (even though I woke up around 4am). The dream had something to do with JH, the Rosen movement teacher. There was some activity about her hair--whether or not she was wearing a wig. That's about all that I remember.

PD exercise class tomorrow (there was no PD dance class today). I paid bills today and rode around in my truck with the AC turned on. Slept some! A day of less than infamy!

Sleep Talkin' Man was burbling in Albanian or so it seems. Strange days, strange ways!

CW dance class at 10am today. It worked although I did get a bit logy during the session. Not sure if early time had anything to do with the tiredness, but I did miss some of my normal sleep. I just realized that one of the people in the class was someone who was in my old Tuesday movement class. I thought I recognized her from the CW class, but it was from the movement session. Mind tricks!

Watched a movie tonight called Ten Canoes. It is an Australian film shot with Maori actors that tells a story of their heritage and crafts in an interesting manner. Shooting the film had to be bitch. Some of the background of how it was made is on the DVD. Awesome effort!

It got hot today! It was 113° F in LA today--an all time record. It felt like it was over a 100° here! No PD dance tomorrow--just more heat!

4257

Another warm day! People were out everywhere today trying to keep cool. I did my laundry this morning before the Laundromat crowds appeared. I ended up taking a nap when I returned. Just a bit of effort seems to wear me down some. I napped and then went out to grab a bite to eat.

CW dance class starts earlier tomorrow. It's been moved to 10AM. I'll have to get up earlier to get there on time. Kind of a pain, but it'll be OK. Changes! Always changes!

Watched a film movement DVD tonight--The Window. I'd seen it before but I picked it up from the library thinking it was one I hadn't viewed. It was about an old man whose son was coming to visit. It dealt with the old man's awakenings (his dreams, his thoughts, his last desires) as the meeting is about to take place. It was a visually rich film. There was a short feature on the DVD about a man's 70th birthday. He choked on his birthday cake. It was a short, bitter film where the credits and such were longer than the film.

Hot weather is upon us once again. Too hot to trot! We're supposed to have several more days of warmer weather before we cool it once more.

Bumped into HM and RS today. HM is still making music. RS is doing graphics and design. They were meeting with two other people regarding slow food projects and related phenomena. It was a buzzy conversation but interesting. One of the people works for Facebook making meals--Facebook provides a food court for the employees.

Watched a movie Somers Town. It is a film movement work about two young boys in England. It was an engaging film--a bit whimsical but done well.

Dreamed last night that I was taking a plane to some place. The plane had to take off in a tight corridor between some tall buildings. I've had other dreams about being on a plane with such challenging take off restrictions. In this case, there were two female flight attendants who were responsible for flying the plane. They got the passengers seated and then took over the flight controls. As we took off, we had to make several sharp banks along the route. At one point, the plane had to be rolled so that it was upside down and flown that way. The flight was chaotic and scary, but we made it. I was sitting next to one of the flight attendants. She reached over and squeezed my leg as she maneuvered the plane. We then flipped over and everything that was loose in the cabin started flying about.

Weight training was weighty today. My muscles know that they have been trained. We had the new instructor, who is a professional trainer. He put us through a good workout. I'll probably still be a bit kinked up tomorrow, but it felt good to do the workout. He had us do some interesting balance work. Glad he stepped up to keep the class going.

I'm heading for the bed soon. Feeling like I want to get horizontal. Will read myself to sleep.

Watched a batch of new season TV shows. Good to have the better network shows back on the air. Power went out this afternoon. Most of the area was without power for a few hours.

Laundry day again tomorrow! May the soap suds roll!

4260

Movement class today! Felt good to make the movements and relaxations. Everyday in every way! Making the movements!

It was cool last night. Fall weather is upon us. It's better than the heavy heat, but still affects my symptoms.

Dreamed last night that I was in a small hybrid automobile. RB and RW from the old men's team were in the car. RB was driving. We were careening along a coastal highway. We were being chased and were trying to get away. The car was being put to the test. We were swerving around sharp turns in the roadway with the vehicle sliding and drifting every now and then.

After the movement class I grabbed a bite to eat (Panang Fish) and after a bit I napped for several hours. I want to sleep in the afternoons. Sleep the cares away! Lots of new TV episodes are being broadcast this week. I watched several shows this afternoon and evening. I'm ready for the beddy!

4261

PD exercise class today. I was told that a photograph was taken of me in yesterday's PD dance class. Supposedly, I am caught in the middle of a jump that I did. It will be interesting to see it.

Watched two movies today--Touch of Evil and Uncle Vanya. Touch of Evil is a film that was directed and acted in by Orson Welles. The DVD is a copy of the director's cut that never made it to the theater screens. It's an interesting movie with lots of Orsonian features. It had a bevy of famous actors in the cast.

Uncle Vanya is a recent DVD release of an older film version--updated. GH played a part in the film. It was a bit strange sitting in his house, watching him on the screen, with so much time between him on the film and him today.

Dreamed last night that I was helping organize a wedding. I arrived at the wedding reception via a motorcycle. When everything was cleared, I discovered that the motorcycle had been hauled back to my office. I was without transportation. I subsequently discovered that I had also misplaced my wallet. I didn't have any money or credit cards. In a second part of the dream, I was in an office and a woman was helping me make large-format images of my driver's license. She was operating a big printer that was making color images of my documents.

Update on the H's unwanted tenant: She is in the county jail, booked on felony charges with a $75K bail. She has been officially evicted from their property. She is a really clever person--she tried to get a credit card in the H's name and buy a plane ticket. They are gratefully free of her presence and soon of her belongings. Someone (a friend of hers) is coming by to haul her stuff away. The H's did a great job of dealing with the situation.

4262

PD dance class today. It's very moving to watch people with the difficulties of PD as they dance. There is a charge as they do the exercises.

I came back feeling like I needed to sleep. I napped for several hours.

Dreamed last night about being in a work complex. We had to take the train to and from the work place. There was some confusion about the trains, but everything got worked out over time.

Weather has cooled off quite a lot. Fall is upon us. The Autumnal Equinox! I went to the park today after eating lunch. I was sitting on a bench watching the ground squirrels munch their lunch--shoots of green grass. I noticed a few of the squirrels darting for the shadows. About that time a huge hawk exploded out of the sky and grabbed one of the younger squirrels. The squirrel got rolled up into a ball of fur. But it tumbled out of the hawk's grip and managed to escape. About then a swarm of crows started diving at the hawk and drove it away.

It was like watching a nature movie up close! The hawk lost out on lunch but I'm sure it will make up for it another time.

Went to CW dance class this morning. There was some chaos regarding the cancellation of the early class. Not enough people signed up for it. We were polled as to whether we would like an earlier class time. Looks like the class may be shifted to 10AM. If they move it earlier, I'll switch to RC class. We learned a tricky intermediate dance today. Tricky but danceable!

Watched the movie Vickie Christina Barcelona tonight. It was an OK film, but a little slow and pedantic. Woody Allen wrote and directed the film. Not one of his great works!

Dreamed something about being in a house with a bunch of people. We were having to apportion the rooms to accommodate groups of people, some of which were families.

I came home from dance class after eating a big meal. I zonked out for several hours. I was awakened by people thundering along the balcony. I could have slept more but the noise roused me and I blundered awake.

PD dance class in the morrow! Dance and dance!

Did the Big PD session today. It was more difficult than the Loud session. My physical issues seem to be more evident than my vocalization items. I found it difficult to do some of the Big exercises. It would be handy to do both trainings. I plan on looking into how I might do them both. It make sense!

In the meantime, I can make sure I practice what I did learn in these two sessions. Thinking Loud and thinking Big do make a difference in what happens with PD. That's what their data show in the studies that have been made.

CW dance tomorrow! And a week full of other activities! Onward and onward, loudly and big!

4265

Feels like a long weekend. I've been dragging about for the bulk of today. I was a bit tired out from yesterday's excursion into LSVT Loud. Tomorrow I'll experience LSVT Big. Loud made an impression. I've been aware of my vocal amplitude on and off today.

Dreamed last night that I was in charge of watering two plots of land. I spent most of the time in the dream watering the two plots. At one point, a woman came up and asked if she could try two different nozzles. They were not like the ones I was using. I let her give them a try, but they didn't work as well as the ones I was using. She had a couple of kids with her. I gave her a set of tickets to a jumping room that was just down the road. She took the tickets and headed down that way. It seemed that it was like a holiday and there were all kinds of booths, rides and attractions lined up along the road. My two plots of land and the watering setup were part of the festivities.

I watched a movie tonight--Total Recall. I've seen this film several times. I find it to be entertaining. I played some of the special features that described what went into the making of the film. It was about the last, big-budget set creation film done in the non-digital way. It used a few digital effects, but for the most part it was done with "movie magic."

Got a call from the H's this morning regarding their unwanted tenant. She was stopped and arrested last night on her way back to the house. She was arrested under a felony warrant for fraud and other charges. The H's can take a sigh of relief. It's not over but it's moving in the right direction.

Last night, I heard a lot of chatter out in street. When I checked it out, I found out it was the police. It seems that some of the lower apartments had a peeping tom. He was looking into the bathroom windows while people were taking showers. It's a crazy world!

Went to a LSVT Loud seminar today. It was very informative. There was an hour of presentation of what LSVT Loud is and what it has been proven to moderate PD voice symptoms. In the second hour of practice, I experienced what the training could do to help me restore my vocalization skills. It was dramatic! I'll be going to a LSVT Big session on Sunday. It will focus on movement exercises that accomplish movement-based moderation of symptoms.

Watched a Hitchcock movie tonight--Spellbound. It featured a dream segment that was created by Salvidor Dali. It was an OK film, but somewhat pedantic regarding psychoanalysis, which was integral to the plot. It had a lot of famous actors--Peck, Bergman, Fleming and such. It wasn't all that scary for a Hitchcock film. It had a few moments but nothing really frightening.

4267

I felt good today! Best I've felt in a while! I give all the credit to the acupressure session I had yesterday. It woke me up! My body needs kneading--that's the truth of it.

Had a movement class today. It felt good as well. Something about the micro movements that seems to make things better.

The H's are in the middle of the muddle with their unwanted tenant. The police have issued a felony warrant for her arrest. They just have to catch her. She's really crafty. They have the house under surveillance, waiting for her to appear. It's made the H's life a hell of a situation. They will be really happy to have her gone.

Watched a noir movie tonight--Nightmare Alley. It is an old b/w film in the dark screen motif. It was entertaining--nothing monumental.

Tomorrow I have a seminar at the PD institute on LSVT Loud. Will do another on Sunday for LSVT Big. Should be informative! The family of the man who died will be moving his furniture tomorrow. It's taken them all week to pack up the place and empty it. Amazing what can be stuffed into a small space.

4268

It's been a busy day and there's more to come. Had a PD exercise class this morning. It was a fairly large class. That slows things down a bit but it still was a good session.

Grabbed a bite to eat and came hope and napped. Awoke and went to an acupressure session. Felt good! My body really misses a weekly session. When I arrived for the treatment, I was showing some symptoms. They melted away during the treatment. I came home and napped again.

Heading to the H's for a movie night. Don't know which movie we're seeing. As long as it's not one by Truffaut.

Dreamed last night that I was with my last ex-wife and my two sons from my second marriage. We were discussing something to do with the two boys. It was like a soap opera episode. I don't recall the details.

Feeling like I'm stuck in a revolving door. I keep spinning and spinning but never going anywhere. I want to move on with my life but continue to just tread water. I keep expecting that something will disrupt the endless pattern I've created and continue to make happen.

4269

PD dance class was on the menu today. It went well! We're starting to get ready for a December exhibition. It will be interesting to see what is done.

I felt blurry today. The class yesterday was felt today. I came away from the PD class feeling dense and heavy. I grabbed some lunch and came back and fell asleep for a few hours. Just want to sleep! Can't muster a lot of energy for other things. Make it through my daily rituals which include sleeping.

PD exercise class tomorrow followed by an acupressure session. Then, a movie night at the H's. Busy day with lots of play!

Dreamed that I was watching a DVD with some people. The disc started hanging up right near the end of the movie. I said that it would be alright--that the system would clear the problem. I don't recall if it did or didn't clear up. It was like I was watching a movie of my life and the final frames were not being played smoothly. The images were breaking up and freezing. I knew it would clear eventually, but I was sure exactly when.

Watched a Truffaut film, The Man Who Loved Women. It was not all that interesting. It was supposed to be light and humorous, but it seemed slow and not engaging. So much for Truffaut! I think I've seen enough of his work.

4270

CW line dance class started today. It was a challenge. The class is 1.5 hours long and throughout we're almost constantly in motion. The instructor covered four dances (I think--it may have been five). Chica Boom Boom, Seduced, This and That, Midnight Waltz and...maybe it was only four. The good news is that all are on YouTube. The Internet rules! I was feeling tired after the class but I pressed on and did some errands, grabbed some food, went to the park and then came home and slept.

The family of the man who died next door were here all day continuing to clear his apartment. What we accumulate even in a tiny one bedroom unit!

I'm feeling frazzled tonight. I watched some short films by Truffaut. They were not all that interesting. Busy week coming up. Classes and such all week plus an acupressure session and two PD symposiums where I have volunteered to attend. Also, movie night at the H's. Dancing and moving, moving and dancing! PD dance tomorrow!

My truck is acting up--or the temperature regulator (thermostat) is doing so. May have to have it looked at! Always something!

4271

Some of the relatives of the person who died next door were here today. They were clearing out his apartment. I met a nephew and a sister of the man. He was only 56 years old. It sounds like he died of some intestinal complication that might have been treatable. He apparently was feeling ill but didn't do anything about it. What a tragedy! I reminded them that he had a storage locker in the carport.

I had a mini film festival today. I watched two of Melville's works--Bob the Gambler and Army of Ghosts. The gambler film was the better work. It was a cops and robber story with several twists and turns. Ghosts was a bit too drawn out and had some odd jumps that muddled up the action some. Given my earlier rounds with his films, I think I'm done exploring what he produced.

I managed to do a walk today and some quiet time in the park. I did go back to sleep after eating breakfast. I'm trying to pinpoint why I feel so tired and lethargic. Walking helped! So did a light lunch--sushi! Something about protein--I seem to be craving it!

CW dance classes begin tomorrow! I'm ready to dance!

4272

Weekend wobblies! Had to pull myself out of bed and head to the Laundromat this morning. Laundry place was crowded versus other Saturday mornings. Lots of people and lots of dirty clothes. Did it though and came back and collapsed for a while. Went out to run some errands and grab a bite to eat. Returned with a stack of movies. Watched several episodes of some of my TV shows (Rookie Blue and Flashpoint). Watched one of the Melville oldies--Les Enfants Terrible. It is not a very good film. It was trying to be macabre but many of the scenes were almost comical. There was overacting and a lot of posed interactions. Terrible was terrible!

In some dreams from the past few nights I was riding around on a motorcycle whose acceleration kept sticking and the brakes were not working. It made for exciting dreamscapes but not a lot of rest. Last night I dreamed that every interaction with others involved the number 23. When change was made, the total was always 23 cents. Discounts were set at 23%. The number of people in a dream scene would total 23. Mystery!

GH called and said he figured out the remote control on the new DVD. His eyesight leaves him changing controls by braille. He figured it out though! He's tenacious!

4273

Been a busy day! Was up fairly early. Ate lightly and went to PD weight training session in the afternoon. The weight training session was a workout. I could feel the results long before we ended the session.

Afterward, went to the H's and took GH to Frye's to pickup a DVD player. We also got a data switch and an extra set of RCA cables. These items allowed me to link in the new DVD player and put his connection to the video channel on a toggle. He can switch between the DVD and his video channel with the push of a button. The only drawback is that he has to use another controller. That makes four controllers for his setup.

He made a dinner for us--his pasta al fredo specialty. It was delicious. I was wiped though by the time I got home.

Watched a movie this evening--Doubt. Good film--powerful messages brought to life by a team of great actors. It was a shocking and thoughtful tale. I'm glad I finally got to see it. Time to hit the bed! I'm toast! Laundry day tomorrow--maybe! We'll see how it goes when I awake.

4274

Was a busy time last night and today. Went to the H's for movie night. They had served their unwanted tenant with an eviction notice. Now, it's a matter of days until she will be asked to vacate or face forcible removal. That bit of news put an umbrella over the evening's events. There were some of their relatives visiting as well as E, the other movie regular. I was able to patch my DVD player into their system. We watched a Bio-pic of Allen Ginsburg's life. It gave a good history of AG's development and accomplishment. It made him seem more accessible versus just hearing some of his poetry.

Went to movement class today and it helped settle things down. I was a bit wired from Tuesday night's seminar on healing and the excursion to the H's. I dreamed a convoluted dream sequence last night (as well as waking up several times). In one part of the dream, I was driving a truck that was towing another vehicle. I was having to turn the two vehicles around in a tight space. It was taking me some time to make the turn. I was feeling like I was being watched by someone. There were other parts of the dream that involved looking for someone or something in a city at night. It was raining. The streets were shimmery and awash with shadows and lights.

I watched a movie tonight--Innocent Voices. It was a story about the times of war in El Salvador when children were being kidnapped by both sides. The story followed the life of young boy who was old enough to be conscripted and the turmoil he lived through. It was a good movie, although a bit slow and predictable.

I slept solidly this afternoon. My symptoms were more present late yesterday and today. Still experiencing some reverberation from my neighbor dying this past weekend. Keep looking for more news about him and what happened to him. A life shuts off but there is nothing else that happens!

4275

PD exercise class was somewhat difficult today. We used the rubber stretch loops on our ankles. They inhibit movement and really task the leg muscles. I came home and slept for several hours once I had eaten some food. Weather has cooled down so afternoon nap was possible. It is tough to nap when it is hot.

Heading over to the H's tonight for a movie. No news about the man who died over the weekend. I thought there would be more activity by either the landlord or relatives. But nothing! I'm curious to know his full name and age. And, what caused his death! No new news from the twitter reporter.

Movement class tomorrow.

4276

PD dance class today was energizing. We did a lengthy exercise that involved everyone adding their movement to all the movements done by those before them. It was like a growing chain of movements, which became a challenge to remember. But, we did it! there were about 20 people in the class so the final production had 20 consecutive movements. It was a brain challenge, but fun. We then broke into smaller groups and performed the movements, in order, for the rest of the class. It was amazing how it all came together.

In the afternoon I help GH with some errands and tried to figure out how to make his video system work with an external DVD player. We couldn't figure out the DVD issue.

Tonight I went to a talk by a person who runs a healing center in SF. His talk was on healing vision problems, but he also discussed their success with MD and other degenerative illnesses. The physical manipulation they give to MD patients is pretty radical, but apparently effective. I meant to ask him about PD--if they had any experience in that area. But, I bolted out when the talk was over. I'll query them on the Internet. There are many miraculous things in the world! He cured his blindness by intention, will and work.

4277

Labor Day! Is over! Lots of people had to labor today even though it was supposedly a holiday. The police and attendant cohorts were here in the complex until around 2 in the morning. They were doing whatever they do when someone dies and is discovered later. The man who passed away died 2 to 4 days before he was discovered. He was starting to smell. I slept only a few feet from his body for one or two nights. He was on the floor in his bedroom which shares a wall with my bedroom.

A few minutes after the police were notified there was a series of tweets announcing the police call. Within a few hours, the tweets triggered a news bulletin that appeared online. Weird! There are ghouls who monitor the police bands and send out tweets as events unfold. It was a shock to see the online news story while the cops were still working the scene.

I dreamed the night before that I was working with a team of people on some kind of network database application. It was a detailed dream and involved many people I once knew. I dreamed last night but don't recall the details.

It turned hot again today. It's supposed to cool down in the coming week, starting tomorrow. Have a PD dance class tomorrow.

Watched a Jean-Pierre Melville film tonight--Le Doulos--The Informant. It was a tense drama about some criminals, intricate plots, and surprises. The other film of his that I saw recently was The Red Circle. Will locate more of his films--they are worth seeing. In his films, there is much more going on beyond the story line and action. I listened to some of the commentary that was supplied on the DVD and it was revelatory.

The man who lived next door to me died sometime this weekend. The last time he was seen by anyone was a few days ago. The people on the other side of him knocked on his door and when they didn't get a response they checked further and found him dead. I heard his cat yowling this morning, which was unusual. Now I know why. I really didn't know him all that well. I think his name was Ken Chen. He was of Asian decent.

I never really heard much noise from his place. He would hack and cough in the mornings. It sounded like he was allergic to his cat. The cat was never outside--it was a house cat.

The cops, paramedics, animal control, and others all descended on this place when the 911 call was handled. I don't know if Ken had any relatives. May he rest in peace. His parking space was next to mine but he never parked there. Don't know why. Now, I never will know.

I was watching a movie--The Man Escaped--when the neighbors knocked on my door with the news. I'll finish the movie and and think about sleeping a few feet from a body as I did last night. Not exactly a pleasant thought! You never know!

4279

Cooled down quite a lot today. Thank goodness! The holiday mania is abounding today. Football games, shoppers, and a lot of people moving about. Slept in some this morning before heading out into the flurry.

Watched an old movie called The Men. It was Marlon Brando's first film. It was not too bad all around. It was a story about a man who gets injured in WWII and ends up in a wheelchair. Most of the action took place in the VA ward with the injured men as the focus. The question that is wrestled with is whether or not they can go on to live regular lives. Brando wasn't walking at the end of the action, but he had made peace with his condition.

Dreamed last night that I was sponsoring people to some kind of workshops. We were gathering in an old building and be shuttled to the lectures. I was there with several people that I knew and was hand holding them through the opening process. We got in huge buses when we left the old building and were taken to a meeting hall at the top of a hill. The mood was exciting and expectant.

Long holiday weekend on the agenda. Nothing special planned. Expect I will sleep some and wait through the hours--reading, eating, and marking time. The beat goes on!

4280

PD weight training was a bit strenuous today. We did some things that made me feel the limits of my strength and flexibility. We also got the news that the instructor may be leaving. Changes!

Got a call from the MV recreation center that the Tuesday evening movement session has been canceled. Not enough people enrolled! That was not unexpected. The previous teacher had a good following. The new one does not. So it goes! And goes, and goes!

Watched a movie tonight--Gigante--a Uruguayan film about a man who becomes enamored with a woman he sees on a security system. He is a security monitor and becomes obsessed with the woman from a distance. The film is a quirky love story--nothing gigantic despite the title.

Cooling down some tonight. It was a bit cooler this afternoon. I won't be sad when the heat goes away. It was still warm enough to make an afternoon nap difficult to pull off. And the kids in the complex were noisy as well.

I helped a neighbor unplug her kitchen sink today. She had dropped the disposer cap into the disposer unit. Used a pair of pliers to grab the cap and pull it out. Today's good deed!

4281

Long hot day! It was slightly cooler than yesterday, but still was plenty hot.

Movement classroom had the AC turned on so it was bearable to be moving about. But it was sweltering in the late afternoon and into the evening. It was too hot to take a nap and I could have used one. Supposed to cool down this weekend. Tuesday movement class is not happening. Not enough people signed up!

PD weight training session tomorrow. I signed up as a volunteer for the LSVT workshops coming up in mid September.

Didn't eat a lot today. The heat left me with no appetite. Had a smoothie for lunch. Drinking a lot of water. Have to keep hydrated. Noise here this afternoon was extreme. Kids and skateboards! Need some peace and quiet!

4282

PD exercise class today. It was a big class. There were more people in attendance than I have seen since I started the sessions. Takes more time with a large class for each activity. May need to add another class to help spread the load.

Watched a movie, Who in the @&%!# is Jackson Pollack? It was a short documentary about a woman who found a possible Pollack painting in a thrift store. The film details her struggles to try and get the piece authenticated. It's a crusty short film about the crusty lady and her quest to get the art world to acknowledge her find. The film was mildly funny and was, thank goodness, fairly short. She's had offers of up to $9MM for the work, but she's refused to sell it at that price.

Dreamed that I was in an amusement park--a huge one that spread for miles along the shore of the ocean. I was making my way through the huge complex, taking rides every now and then, and talking with people. There was something about the tickets for the rides. I don't remember the details. I had a pass that would let me ride most of the rides for free. At times, I was high in the sky above the complex. I could see the rides spread out below me, extending far along the beach.
